My story
In 2020, I realized that I was depressed because I had neglected a natural talent and passion for 20 years. I needed to do something for stress-relief and mindfulness, so I bought some adult coloring books and markers...
Coloring books changed my life.
They eased my mind, helped me regain confidence, and gave me a way to discover my style. They rekindled my passion for creating. It was just the boost I needed to finally feel comfortable identifying as an Artist.
My style
Fluid, vibrant, and extra colorful. It’s messy and clean at the same time. I call it “orderly chaos.”
I focus on perspectives, depth, and playful color activations.
My collections
I celebrate the impermanence of nature through abstract landscape and nature scenes. And I recently launched a new style I call “impressionistic pointillism.”
My biggest on-going collection is called “Rise-OR-Set?” which explores abstract horizons and the concept of one’s mood or temperament impacting what they see.
I am always adding to that horizon series along with my abstract nature collection and my impressionistic pointillism series “Count-the-Dots.”
